Where did the Doom Bar Sausage come from?

We knew that when we launched our Breakfast Menu, we want to use quality, locally sourced ingredients!  I knew Jason from The Churchgate Sausage Company, having been a customer for many years.  You really can’t get much better than his sausages!

I approached him and explained that I wanted to create a sausage that was unique to The Hand & Crown and that it was linked to the pub in some way.  Our local customers love Doom Bar Ale, which is why keep it.  Jason suggested he might be able to create something special using that.

Jason then went forward and created a test batch for us all to try.  We cooked them and we all loved them!

So far our customer seem to love them as well, as we have received many compliments both verbally and online.  If you haven’t tried them you really don’t know what your missing!
